Shipping The following conditions apply to all books ordered.
Postage
All parcels will be sent by First Class mail inland and by Economy airmail overseas. Delivery is approximately 5-10 days for overseas and 2-3 working days for inland. Unless a book is oversized or of a value over £30.00, we will charge a standard fee per book of;
UK £3.00 EU £4.00 All other countries £6.00 If the book is oversized, the postal charge will depend upon the weight of the parcel.
For parcels where more than one book is ordered, the postal charge will most likely be less than the sum of individual books. Because of this, the postal charge will be at cost price. The parcel will be weighed and insurance costs added. This will be the charge.
Insurance
Parcels are not insured. If insurance is required, please state at time of order. All parcels above the value of £30.00 will be sent inland via recorded delivery and will be charged accordingly.
Payment
The cost of books ordered is calculated by adding the cost of the book to the appropriate postal charge.You may pay by Visa, MasterCard, Visa/ Delta and Switch. Sterling cheque or International Money Order in Sterling , drawn on a British bank account. For cheques, cash and IMOs in any currency other than Sterling a conversion fee will be added.
Condition of Book Information
- Mint - The book is in perfect condition, as new.
- Fine - The book is in excellent condition with only evidence of ownership.
- Very Good - The book is slightly less than Fine condition with only slight foxing or fading, the dust jacket has very slight rubbing to edges and corners
- Good - The book is obviously used but should be complete with only minor faults.
- Poor - The book is in bad condition, possibly warped or with pages missing. Only suitable for reading.
Returns
Aardvark Books prides itself on the accuracy of the descriptions of our books. If any item fails to match the description, please return it within seven days, at our cost.
